Things I’ve realized/ things the quarantine has changed.
- There is such a thing as too much alone time for an introvert.
- Online school actually isn’t that bad and I actually have more free time than I did in school.
- Toilet paper is as valuable as the holy grail.
- Birds wings actually make sound when they fly above you. Even the little birds.
- I can walk through my neighborhood and only be in the middle of the street.
- You can feel sound hitting your eardrums if you let yourself notice it.
- No matter how much free time I have I will still rather read a book than finish doing the random projects I started ages ago.
- What I thought was silence is actually the sound of the freeway a mile away.
- I am now the queen of grilled cheese sandwiches!
- There is such a thing as too many grilled cheese sandwiches.
- I want to go to a grocery store.
- I miss eating lunch with friends (even if I didn’t really feel like part of the group.)
- Its possible to wake up at a normal time.
- Curfews don’t exist at the end of the world
- I’m living a part of history.
- We will all be able to tell our kids of “The toilet paper runs of 2020”
- Life will never go back to normal.
- Quarantine birthdays are even more fun than normal birthdays.
- It is possible to be worried that the police will be called on your birthday party because too many people are standing in your yard. (oh no! the kids are playing tag!!)
- There is more candy in the apocalypse than I thought there would be.
Love this. A lovely mix of funny and insightful.
