20 Quarantine Realizations and Changes

Things I’ve realized/ things the quarantine has changed.

  1. There is such a thing as too much alone time for an introvert.
  2. Online school actually isn’t that bad and I actually have more free time than I did in school.
  3. Toilet paper is as valuable as the holy grail.
  4. Birds wings actually make sound when they fly above you. Even the little birds.
  5. I can walk through my neighborhood and only be in the middle of the street.
  6. You can feel sound hitting your eardrums if you let yourself notice it.
  7. No matter how much free time I have I will still rather read a book than finish doing the random projects I started ages ago.
  8. What I thought was silence is actually the sound of the freeway a mile away.
  9. I am now the queen of grilled cheese sandwiches!
  10. There is such a thing as too many grilled cheese sandwiches.
  11. I want to go to a grocery store.
  12. I miss eating lunch with friends (even if I didn’t really feel like part of the group.)
  13. Its possible to wake up at a normal time.
  14. Curfews don’t exist at the end of the world
  15. I’m living a part of history.
  16. We will all be able to tell our kids of “The toilet paper runs of 2020”
  17. Life will never go back to normal.
  18. Quarantine birthdays are even more fun than normal birthdays.
  19. It is possible to be worried that the police will be called on your birthday party because too many people are standing in your yard. (oh no! the kids are playing tag!!)
  20. There is more candy in the apocalypse than I thought there would be.
